the Role
The role of an Arctic Ranger is a very exciting and rewarding experience. As an Arctic Ranger, you will be leading activities and responsible for health and safety aspects within the ‘Search for Santa’ experience.
The role of an Arctic Ranger is a fantastic experience, however, due to the nature of the role, can also be physically demanding and challenging at times. You will be spending long periods of time outside, in an Arctic environment, meaning an understanding of how to care for yourself within the climate is a must. We will share our knowledge and give you all the information you need to make the experience as warm and exciting as it possibly can be. If you do the other part, and care for yourselves, help us to help you.


Duties
Arctic Rangers have a variety of roles and responsibilities, from driving staff to and from locations, suit and boot distribution and collection, activity set-ups including lighting fires and hot-juice preparation and leading the activities.
A few examples of the activities the guests will be participating in are-
-Snowmobile driving school
-Husky mushing
-Reindeer rides
-Tobogganing
And many more, all of which you will be part of as an Arctic Ranger.
We look for individuals that are confident, hard working and have a love for the outdoors. You will be required to hold the attention of large groups of people, meaning confidence and enthusiasm is key.
